Brief Information

be’ah is currently building a new engineered landfill expansion cell in different governorates in Oman. The landfill cells have been designed and constructed in full compliance with the USEPA Code of Federal Regulations. The landfill cell engineering barrier consists of the following lining system, from bottom moving upward, as shown in the detail below.  Geotextiles layer placed directly on the top of the landfill floor and beneath the GCL for the cell base only  High Shear strength Geosynthetics Clay Liner (GCL)  2.0 mm structured HDPE liner along the slope and smooth along the base  HDPE Geonet for the base only  High strength geotextiles protection layer  Approximately 300 mm of soil protection layer to allow for the movement of equipment inside the landfill and maintain the integrity of the lining system Hence, be’ah invites specialized companies to submit their quotations for “Conducting Electrical Leak Location Survey (ELLS) for be’ah Landfill Expansion Projects”.
